Rosendael castle gives a wonderful picture of what life was like in a castle in earlier times. The exceptional collection of furniture, silver and china bring the 18th and 19th centuries grandeur of its interior back to life, but Rosendael's history goes back to the period when it was the residence of the Earls and Dukes of Gelderland. Highlights in the historic country park are the trick fountains, the shell gallery and the tea pavilion.
