Veluwsche Stoomtrein

The Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij or Veluwe Steam Train Society is the longest museum in the Netherlands.

With 12 steam locomotives, seven diesel locomotives, a large number of old passenger coaches and a historical goods train, the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij or Veluwe Steam Train Society is the longest museum in the Netherlands.
There are different routes to choose from, and you can board the train at any one of a number of pick-up points between Apeldoorn and Dieren.

One daytrip ticket is all you need for a delightful package tour with no less than three different types of transportation. Explore the Zutphen-Dieren-Apeldoorn triangle by saloon vessel, steam train and Dutch Rail diesel train. Of course, you can also start your trip by steam train from Apeldoorn.

The train has a wheelchair lift (regrettably not in service in Eerbeek and Immenbergweg). The train has a dining car. There is ample parking at all of the stations. To determine fares, Immenberg belongs to Beekbergen. Please note: the VSM does not accept cash cards or chip cards. The P&R car park in Apeldoorn only accepts Chipknip chip cards.
